We are looking for an experienced Construction Manager to oversee two key projects in SE5 Camberwell, London.
About the Projects
Project 1: Renovation of Existing Flats
Oversee the complete renovation of two existing flats. Tasks include initial demolition and site preparation, removal of existing fixtures and fittings, floor covering replacement, dismantling of non-load bearing walls and ceilings, plumbing and electrical upgrades, wall surface treatments, and final inspections.
- Completion of initial demolition and site preparation
- Completion of plumbing and electrical upgrades
- Installation of new fixtures and fittings
- Final project completion and passing all inspections
Project 2: Extension for Additional One-Bed Flat
Manage the extension project to add an additional one-bed flat at the rear of the property once planning permission is approved. Tasks include foundation work, structural build, interior finishing, and final inspections.
- Completion of foundation work
- Completion of structural build
- Interior finishing and installations
- Final project completion and passing all inspections
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Construction Manager in residential construction.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, building regulations, and safety standards.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and subcontractors effectively.
- Strong negotiation skills for procuring materials and hiring subcontractors.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Relevant qualifications in construction management or a related field.
